Our House Sold!
We've accepted an offer on our house! We still have to close pending inspection so it isn't completely finalized yet but as long as everything goes smoothly it'll be done by April 15th!

We love the Wilkins!
They're moving down South and we're sure going to miss them being so close!
(I've got this picture because my dad's computer is broken so I'm uploading and editing all his pictures from their beach vacation. S,N, C, Mike and I couldn't go.)

Garlands and Banners
More inspirations for parties and Easter! (Paper banners are some of my favorite decor - they add so much punch for hardly any cost! My sister did a great one for Bray's bday.)

Cinnamon Roll Testing - Mrs. L's Recipe
We really liked Mrs. L's recipe! The rolls came out nice and soft (and stayed soft!!) and had a good balance of cinnamon. I ran out of white flour so the majority was whole wheat pastry flour and it was fantastic. The wheat didn't weigh them down at all. Key differences from some of the other recipes: shortening instead of butter, white sugar instead of brown. We've still got more recipes to work through before we declare our favorite - but I definitely recommend these!
(In order to have our cinnamon rolls freshly baked in the morning we freeze them right after they are rolled and cut. Pull them out of the freezer right before you go to bed - still keep them loosely covered so they don't dry out - and then pop them in the oven in the morning. I've done it on every recipe we've tried and it's worked great.)

Sailboat Invites
I was hoping to find sailboat themed invites for Asa but after searching all over Moscow with no success I ended up making these with Rachel. (Mike even helped put the flags on!)

More of Lisa's Flowers
Lisa's bouquet- a mix of cream, red, hot pink, bright orange, light pink roses and spray roses to create lots of textures and colors while only using one kind of flower.
75 Cream roses for the pews- they smelled wonderful!
Pew Cones - we made these out of cream cardstock. To tie it into her theme we put the black scroll that was used on her invitation on the cone. (After many trials, I now have a great cone template that I'll try to post at some point!)
Guest Book arrangement.
(Thanks Bekah, Rachel, Carolyn, and Christine!!)

Sneak Peak - Asa's Bday
I found a couple old postcards from the Derby Cafe in South Dakota and I got one for Asa's bday. (Sophie Derby was Asa's Great Great Grandmother!)

Double Decker
Amara got to spend all day with us when S and N went to Spokane for N's birthday! Once Amara realized she could look up and see me, she kept attempting to scare me by loudly growling (we got a few stares from passerbyers).

The Oscars
Asa and Amara basically enjoyed their first Oscars. They spent most of the evening hovering around the food and clapping.
