Nana got back from MI so we belatedly celebrated her birthday. (Asa anticipates birthdays months in advance. We've got a photo calendar with the picture of everyone on their day so he always knows who's coming. He just reminded me that Kajsa is up next.) He helped me all day long getting ready for the party (cleaning, setting the table, making a banner, and debating over whether he should wear a tie or a "creature power suit").
He really wanted to make Nana a cake and he picked chocolate. So here's his cake - he put in all the ingredients (eggs too), stirred and mixed. Ida was more concerned with the decorations for the cake. She wanted flowers and candles on top so that's what she did.
