Cousin Time

They were being so sweet, talking laughing...

Asa patted Amara on the cheek

Then she responded by chewing on his foot...

Playing with Amara

Asa and Amara are actually starting to interact. I was watching both of them yesterday and they were quite amused with each other until Amara began hitting Asa in the face. (He deserved it - he had hit her when we were at the coast and we knew she was just waiting for an opportunity.)

Not to sure about this...

Boating!

Mom and Dad C watched Asa for us so we could make a quick trip down to the river. Maggie took all these pictures which is why she isn't in any of them - but she was there, rocking the kneeboard, and getting thrown off the tube!
Carolyn and Laura getting air on our new tube!
It was a little windy.
Laura started getting her jumping technique down.

Mike preparing to jump the wake.
And the start of his jump.

At the pool with Maggie

Last Sunday we went with the Creasons to the pool. This was Asa's first trip and he didn't fuss at all. Thanks to Sam and Chrissie watching the kids, Mike and I got to go down the slides a few times!

Squeal Laugh

Asa was laughing really hard and, of course, when I got the camera out he wouldn't do it as much. But here's what we got anyway.

Asa in the morning

Asa is always extremely happy when we come and get him out of his crib in the morning. He is typically playing with and talking to his feet.

A big smile for Dad. Can't wait for you to get home!

The Riverfront Pizza and Deli

If you are ever in Glen Arbor, MI you have to go The Riverfront Pizza and Deli! This is Grandpa Chief's daily lunch spot and when we visit we get to go too. Asa made his first trip this past week. Sue makes everything -and it's extremely fresh. From sushi to roasted portabella mushroom and veggie sandwiches to her wide selection of fresh baked desserts. Her mint brownies are a personal favorite. Not to mention the pizza side of things that her husband runs. Wow! Thanks Sue!

Sue's amazing cupcakes!

George got to dip his own cone.
