I took this when Ida was just a few days old - those tiny wrinkly little legs were about the span of my hand! And now.... well! Here they are at one year! Her calf is about the span of my hand!
I'm going through old photos, trying to create Ida's 1st year memory book before my groupon expires (yikes!), and I came across this shot! He was posing for me to get a picture in order to make a silhouette. The energy's trying to escape out of his face because he's holding so still!
Asa was cooking with a little flour in his bowl while I was making banana bread. I popped into the living room for a second to hear laughter and then found this. Asa explained, "I'm baptizing Ida with flour!" So of course I got the camera.
I cannot believe it's already been a year! It has absolutely flown by - and we love this girl more and more! Her perky personality is really coming out and it's such fun to see. She's still our sweetie; happy, loving, cuddly girl (who can hold her own against Asa!).
And this was just a year ago:
We took our quick Portland/Cannon Beach/Eugene/Albany trip this weekend! And the second cousins managed to pack in every ounce of play time together possible. I've got a bunch of pictures of them to sort through but this made me smile.
