Nothing beats homemade bread but the amount of time, mixing, kneading, rising, and punching down can be just too much, especially if you have errands to run and can't be at home for a 4 hour period.
No knead bread that rises overnight is the answer. What's even better about this recipe is that it tastes like gourmet artisan bread with a crackly crust and soft interior. All that it requires is a dutch oven and a little forethought. Then just throw it in your le creuset and out comes a gorgeous loaf. (We made the Parmesan Black Pepper loaf pictured above and it's fantastic.)
Now here's your chance to win a $40 giftcard towards getting your own le creuset dutch oven!
All you have to do is leave a comment listing your favorite le creuset item (if you have one) or the color you'd want (if you don't). I'm really drawn to the caribbean blue!
Already have tons of le creuset? No worries - the giftcard can go towards any item at one of CSN's stores.
For an extra chance to win, put a link to this post on your blog and leave a second comment here with the linked site.
The winner will be announced Wednesday, August 18th by 6pm PST. US and Canadian readers only.
Good luck!
I'm hosting another giveaway on my design blog so while you're at it head on over there and enter for that one too!
I love le creuset! I don't have any, and I don't know that I could pick just one color, but I do love the green...
ReplyDeleteps i linked to you from our blog.
ReplyDeleteyellow, yellow
ReplyDeleteYummy! 7qt Kiwi.
ReplyDeleteI do not have any pieces but I love the color of the Caribbean Blue.

I would get kiwi, even though it matches nothing in my kitchen. :)
ReplyDeleteTheir dutch ovens are the best!

I've always wanted something from le creuset! I can't decide between the caribbean blue or the yellow. All the colors are so pretty!

I like the Carribean Blue also.

I long for the hugest dutch oven possible. (We have a 5 qt., which is great, but...). In blue.
ReplyDeleteThey're all so pretty. But I think the orange sticks out most. Maybe because I have nothing orange in my kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI don't own any Le Creuset yet. My house is done mostly in greens. Lisa owns some blue Le Creuset and loves it.

I have a red knock off le creuset, but I'd love the blue one, it'd look amaaazing in my kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI have had my cobalt blue for 10 years or so and I really love it!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the more ecnomically priced tramontina dutch ovens. :) I have one in cobalt blue. I do like the Le Creuset spice jars. Maybe that's not the name of them, but they look like mini canasters. Caribbean blue is my favorite too.
ReplyDeleteI adore my red le creuset tea kettle! It's perched on my stovetop all year long...I would really love a dutch oven, though...
ReplyDeleteI can't make up my mind about their wonderful colors . . . so I would start with a blue or red, and then add a red or blue, and then add on . . . or maybe I'd have to buy two at once!
ReplyDeleteI love my cheery red 2 Qt. pot, but that blue looks mighty gorgeous!

I only can dream of owning a piece of Le Creuset. However, the drool worthy piece for me is the Le Creuset braiser in the gorgeous Cassis color.
ReplyDeleteYay! I hope I win. :)
ReplyDeleteCaribbean Blue - definitely!
they are all so pretty... but the lime green one is really fun!

I love the kiwi green!
ReplyDeleteI love my huge 13 1/2 Qt. Le Creuset, that my husband bought me from Sur La Table. I have made roast chicken, roast beef, pot roasts, artisan bread, soups, chili's, etc. in it. It weighs a ton but performs so well. I would love the Carribean blue in a smaller 9 qt.size. Nice blog, Kathryn. You are amazing.
ReplyDeleteI've only seen other people's Le Creuset. The blue is lovely. Can relatives enter?
ReplyDeleteI know I'm too late to be entered into the drawing, but I just have to say I love my Le Creuset dutch oven in kiwi! I never thought I'd own one but we found a great deal at a Le Creuset outlet. Also, I'm SO excited to try that bread recipe... thanks for sharing it!
